Announcing the 2011 Golden Sneaker Challenge Winner!

KEITH!
Yes, this is the guy we chose as the 2011 winner!
I have a feeling that if we cut his hair,
he'll lose all his strength and one of us will
have a chance of winning this year!

I think it comes as no big surprise that Keith received the most votes which entitles him to have in his possession, for 1 year, the Golden Sneaker trophy.  He is also the recipient of the $100 cash from the prize pot.
Keith did happen to achieve his goal during the course of the year and also involved himself in numerous fitness adventures that kept him active and even close to death, on a few occasions.
Good job, Keith.  Thanks for being such an inspiration and motivation to the rest of us.  You are a great example of how to Overcome Lazy!
As far as the Not-So-Dumbbell award, I blew y’all away on that one by earning the most points on the monthly challenges.  The prize was the choice of an iTunes gift card or an exercise DVD.  Well, since I can download my music for free and can get almost any DVD on Netflix, I think I will apply those winnings to a new fitness gadget of some kind.  I'll let you know.
Keith will get to proudly display the trophy all year long (how nice I don't have to mail it anywhere!)  And we will get him to report on how he is going to spend his winnings.
CONGRATULATIONS, KEITH!

Cast Your Vote!

It’s time to declare the winner of the 2011 Golden Sneaker Challenge!
I like to think that we’re all winners, of course.
But I’ve got some cash burning a hole in my safe and a cool trophy to award, so, let’s get voting!
You’ve all got ONE WEEK to email me with your selection.  So the deadline is JANUARY 8.  I ask you to email me so it’ll all be confidential.  In matters of the Golden Sneakers, it’s best to email my lazypersonaltrainer@yahoo.com account.
Please vote for someone who you feel did a great job Overcoming Lazy this past year.  Choose someone who impressed you with their efforts for making their lives healthier and happier… whether they achieved their initial goal or not.  That’s it.  It’s that simple.
So, ponder, ruminate, and email me!  Oh, and please include your tally for your Random Acts of Fitness and Random Acts of Kindness for December's Challenge.  I've got to calculate a winner for the Not-So-Dumbbell Award too!
